The Ingenium program promoted by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.celsagroup.com\">Celsa Group<\/a>, is an initiative that seeks talents able to successfully solve the challenges the company is facing. Ingenium was created with the desire to revolutionise the model of the steel sector, to assume the transformation that the Industry 4.0 poses in order to lead the change and revolutionise the steel sector.<\/p>\n<p>Ingenium arises to solve the challenges Celsa Group faces day by day in its production process, or to include new technologies in industrial processes which revolutionise the sector. These challenges, grouped into 5 large groups, are: 1 &#8211; Energy storage, 2 &#8211; Traceability in the supply chain, 3 &#8211; 3-D printing, 4 &#8211; Smart steel, and 5 &#8211; Use of byproducts<\/p>\n<div id=\"gt-res-c\" class=\"g-unit\">\n<div id=\"gt-res-p\">\n<div id=\"gt-res-data\">\n<div id=\"gt-res-wrap\">\n<div id=\"gt-res-content\">\n<div id=\"gt-res-dir-ctr\" class=\"trans-verified-button-small\" dir=\"ltr\"><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"en\"><span title=\"En la presente edici\u00f3n del programa Ingenium se presentaron 48 propuestas, pasando 20 a la fase final.\">In this edition of the Ingenium program, 48 proposals were presented, with 20 being submitted to the final phase. <\/span><span title=\"Smart Engineering participaba en la fase final de selecci\u00f3n con tres proyectos diferentes.\">Smart Engineering participated in the final selection phase with three different projects. <\/span><span title=\"Dos de ellos buscaban revalorizar de las escorias de acer\u00eda y alto horno, transform\u00e1ndola en un producto de alto valor a\u00f1adido.\">Two of them sought to valorize blast furnace slags, transforming it into a product of high added value. <\/span><span title=\"El otro proyecto ten\u00eda por objeto modificar las armaduras de acero de tal modo que \u00e9stas tengan capacidad sensora.\">The other project was to modify the steel reinforcements in such a way that they have intrinsic sensing capacity. <\/span><span title=\"En total han sido seleccionados 10 proyectos, siendo Smart Engineering la \u00fanica empresa con dos proyectos finalistas.\">In total 10 projects have been selected, with Smart Engineering being the only company with two finalist projects. <\/span><span title=\"Ahora se abre un programa de aceleraci\u00f3n y mentoring, de una duraci\u00f3n de entre 6 y 8 meses, entre directivos senior de Celsa Group y Smart Engineering, para transformar los proyectos en pilotos.\">Now a 6 to 8 month acceleration and mentoring program is being set up between Celsa Group Senior Managers and Smart Engineering to transform projects into pilots. <\/span><span title=\"De este modo, Smart Engineering se consolida como una empresa de innovaci\u00f3n y desarrollo de referencia en el sector de la Ingenier\u00eda Civil, apostando claramente por el desarrollo de nuevos materiales con propiedades mejoradas y que contribuyan a la sostenibilidad.\">In this way, Smart Engineering is consolidated as a leading innovation and development company in the Civil Engineering sector, clearly betting on the development of new materials with improved properties and contributing to sustainability.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On February 28, 2017, Smart Engineering was selected for the  [&#8230;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":7949,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-7948","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.2 -
