Engineering lleva desarrollando desde el pasado mes de octubre de 2016 una herramienta multicriterio para la Diputaci\u00f3n de Barcelona.\">Smart Engineering has been developing since October 2016 a multi-criteria tool for the Diputaci\u00f3n of Barcelona. <\/span><span title=\"Esta herramienta, basada en la metodolog\u00eda MIVES, permitir\u00e1 mejorar el proceso de toma de decisiones y la priorizaci\u00f3n de inversiones para el Plan Zonal de la red local de carreteras de la Diputaci\u00f3n de Barcelona.\">This tool, based on the MIVES methodology, will improve the decision-making process and the prioritization of investments for the Zonal Plan of the local road network of the Diputaci\u00f3n of Barcelona. <\/span><span title=\"El Plan Zonal preve\u00eda destinar 5,4 M\u20ac anuales en el per\u00edodo 2011-2025 para el financiamiento directo de actuaciones de mejora de los caminos municipales y su incorporaci\u00f3n a la red local de la Diputaci\u00f3n de Barcelona.\n\n\">The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.diba.cat\/en\/web\/carreteres-locals-i-mobilitat\/planificacio\">Zonal Plan<\/a> planned to allocate 5.4 M \u20ac per year in the period 2011-2025 for the direct financing of actions to improve municipal roads and their incorporation into the local network of the Diputaci\u00f3n de Barcelona.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><span title=\"La metodolog\u00eda multicriterio MIVES, desarrollada en la UPC permite el desarrollo de herramientas y modelos para la ayuda a la toma de decisi\u00f3n y el an\u00e1lisis de valor y sostenibilidad.\">The multi-criteria MIVES methodology developed at the UPC allows the development of tools and models for decision-making aid and value and sustainability analysis. <\/span><span title=\"Esta metodolog\u00eda incorpora, de manera diferencial a otras herramientas multicriterio, la posibilidad de considerar funciones de valor, integrar diferentes requerimientos (econ\u00f3micos, sociales, ambientales, t\u00e9cnicos, etc.), as\u00ed como considerar alternativas homog\u00e9neas o heterog\u00e9neas y emplear matem\u00e1tica jer\u00e1rquica (AHP)\">This methodology incorporates the possibility of considering value functions, integrating different requirements (economic, social, environmental, technical, etc.), as well as considering homogeneous or heterogeneous alternatives and using hierarchical mathematics (AHP) f<\/span><span title=\"para la asignaci\u00f3n de pesos de los indicadores.\n\n\">or the assignment of weights of the indicators.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><span title=\"La herramienta que Smart Engineering est\u00e1 desarrollando para la Diputaci\u00f3n de Barcelona permitir\u00e1 considerar diferentes aspectos a la hora de tomar la decisi\u00f3n de renovar los caminos municipales.\">The tool that Smart Engineering is developing for the Diputaci\u00f3n of Barcelona will allow to consider different aspects when making the decision to renew the municipal roads. <\/span><span title=\"En este sentido, se tendr\u00e1n en cuenta diferentes aspectos econ\u00f3micos, sociales y ambientales.\">In this sense, different economic, social and environmental aspects will be taken into account. <\/span><span title=\"De este modo, se podr\u00e1 realizar una priorizaci\u00f3n de las inversiones de acuerdo a criterios objetivos, transparentes y p\u00fablicos.\">In this way, a prioritization of investments can be made according to objective, transparent and public criteria. <\/span><span title=\"Lo anterior redunda en la sostenibilidad de las inversiones p\u00fablicas, as\u00ed como en la transparencia de las instituciones y de los procesos de toma de decisi\u00f3n.\">This results in increased sustainability of public investments, as well as transparency of institutions and decision-making processes. <\/span><span title=\"El proyecto es previsible que termine a finales del presente mes de marzo de 2017\">The project is expected to be completed by the end of March
